Tropic Marin® Phyton is a balanced plankton replacement for all fine particle filter feeders in the seawater aquarium. A high quality algae mixture provides the animals with trace elements and energy-rich carbohydrates in a form only existing in seawater. Spirulina, one of the ingredients, is also rich in carotinoids and, in combination with brewer’s yeast, meets the requirement for natural B group vitamins, particularly vitamin B12.

Tropic Marin® Reef Snow contains these natural marine biopolymers. Together with other feedstuffs, they form nutrient-rich flakes that resemble natural reef snow which are then passed on to the corals and other filter feeders. The concentration of a Tropic Marin® Reef Snow solution can be varied in order to adapt the size of the flakes to suit the filter feeders contained in the tank.
